Neuro Pilates – not just a regular Pilates Class

Neuro Pilates classes are designed and run by Megan Hamilton, an experienced Neurological Physiotherapist who has worked for 15 years helping individuals optimise the connections between their brains and their bodies through movement. Megan has taken this experience and knowledge and has merged it with her Clinical Pilates training to create Neuro Pilates.

How are Neuro Pilates classes different?

These classes are designed to use physical exercise to activate different areas of the brain to enhance body awareness, co-ordination and balance. Exercises also target posture and flexibility, with special attention given to improving core strength and control. In addition to this, classes incorporate the use of relaxing music and beautiful essential oils to stimulate all the senses and different areas of the brain.

Neuro Pilates classes are small and intimate (maximum 4 participants) which enables Megan to provide you with individual attention within an open and supportive group environment. Megan can adjust exercises according to any injuries or specific needs of your body and for regular attendees, Megan can design and incorporate your structured rehabilitation program into the class plans.

Saturdays – 8am – 9am & 9.15am – 10.15am
